I came to the United States in 2020 and entered high school in person in 2021. I was expecting the school to be that comfortable for foreigners and in there you will be able to see people like. The great thing I liked in Owing Mills High was the ESOL program and the teachers who teach, they don't go hard on us, and they make our learning as foreigners more understandable and possible. And I think they should continue like that even though it's hard to teach people who don't speak English. And yes I rate it as a 4.5 and it's because they made me an outstanding student.

Due to Covid I did not spend the whole four years in the brick and mortar location of my school. However was able have a fair experience at the school. I participated in lots of clubs and organization to round out my experience beyond academics. I loved my involvement in the art program and was most appreciative of all the support I got. There is still much to be desired for Owings Mills High. The infrastructure itself needs an overhaul and there needs to be a serious investment in student inclusion and creating a positive experience for everyone who walks through its halls.

What happened to this school? At one time it had arguably the best athletic department in the county, students were coming in as weaklings and by the time they graduated they were going to college to play D1 sports. There was a dedicated PTA, Police Officer, and guidance counseling team. Then some t...

I am a student at OMHS and I will be a junior coming onto the 2014-2015 school year. People think our school is filled with gangs or a bunch of people that don't know what they are doing. But in all honesty, that is not the case. OMHS is progressing and I can see that. In every school, there WILL be...
