GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I love how inclusive the environment is and how nice everyone is to each other no matter the circumstance. What I would like to see change is some teachers actually teaching us in class instead of having us have to take our own notes from online sources or the textbook and better preparing us for AP exams

One review mentioned that the school is not good with inclusion and I completely agree. Many students display a "cliquey" attitude as well as some of the faculty. There is very obvious favoritism, usually the students that are top of their class or the athletes. Aside from the atmosphere of the school, I'd say it was a decent school in that there's a good variety of courses for a school of this size and most of the teachers are pretty solid. Overall it's not a bad school but definitely not perfect.

I liked Oxford High School because it was relatively small. This gave me the opportunity to be extremely involved in the community of Oxford as well as to become close to teachers and other students. This combination of things allowed for a wonderful learning and growing environment, and I thrived here.

As a former student (who's attended as recently as last year), the quality of this school is very low. I've been harassed by many teachers and students and seen other students experience the same thing. Teachers don't really care about their students well-being and often disrespect or harass them. The school is good, but way to hard on their students. Every weekend my child cones home with at least 3 projects or essays minimum. It is extremely stressful on him and he never has a break or any time to himself. The teachers mean well but they give way too much work. He doesn't even have time to...
