There are many pros and cons about Rio Mesa High School. Some are better than others. I'll be stating a few to make you, the reader, understand what it's like being at this school. The first con is that some of the due to the amount of fights at the school no one is allowed to stay in the back. This sucks because sometimes when you are late for class that's one of the quickest way. One Pro though is that the staff are really nice and quiet understanding if your having a hard day.

My son attended Rio Mesa for all four years. He was in all IB classes and was on the Track and Field team. The school overall was pleasant and I did not have any issues with the classes or teachers. More information could be provided to parents regarding the IB program and taking the exams. There also was little parent involvement.
