Pacific Buddhist Academy is a small yet close-knit community with diverse groups of people. The education they provide is excellent and recommend this school to many incoming students from smaller schools. There aren't many unique electives and workshops, although they are trying to work on the diversity of the classes. I think there could be more promotions on taiko since it is one of their more interesting and unique classes.

The academics were alright, however, it was very limited in what is offered. the community was very supportive all the way!

Pacific Buddhist Academy was able to open their doors to me when a previous school I applied for shut its doors before I could start my studies. Over the four years I was there I was introduced to a whole new world of learning and culture in the process. It also brought me out of my comfort zone and really introduced me to getting my hands dirty in the name of learning. By the end of my Four Years, I've learned so much and kept what was taught to help me later in life. I will never forget my time at the school and the friends I've made in the process.

Both my children attend PBA since we moved to Hawaii and I'm glad they do. With a caring faculty, conducive learning environment and small teacher-student ratio, my children excel academically, thrive in extracurricular activities, and they enjoy going to school!
