I have used MHS for my testings such as PSAT and SAT as well as talking to the counselors over and over about resources and questions concerning my grades, classes, and testing.

Overall good school in a relatively small town, they have good advanced classes such as AICE and a few AP's. The main thing I did while in High school was JROTC. I also did a few sports. I also liked how they rewarded kids.

In my time at Matanzas High School I have particularly enjoyed the music program and Dual enrollment program. The dual enrollment program has allowed me to propel my education and has help affordability immensely.

as a current student, i can confidently say that this school drains me and other students everyday. students mental health is not a priority for many teachers, and many teachers are unfair, rude, and just dont care about the students at all. there are only a few teachers who actually accept and care...

some what not so great sporting events are not well planned changing in the middle after schedules are done when they were handed out they were wrong right off the bat and please lets not talk about the spelling and portions.

Matanzas is an awesome school. With the clean environment and general friendliness I felt welcome. The staff and students are listened to and heard.
