I have been a student at PCDS since Pre-K, and it is my home away from home. I have made my lifelong friends here, and have learned so much. My experience has been nothing but positive.

They are exclusionary and backwards under the guise of inclusion and forward thinking. Your child will thrive here if they are a very specific kind of child who follows rules without question. Lots of nastiness behind the fake smiles here.

All of the teachers are fantastic and willing resources for their students. Small class sizes and abundant resources for student projects and independent studies.

I am really grateful for a chance to be part of the PCDS community. I have attended for around 4 years and love it. All of my teachers are amazing and make there clases engaging and fun.

The best thing about PCDS is some of its teachers - there are truly some gems. Unfortunately the administration is a disaster. The lower school head if fairly universally disliked - she has worked hard to suck the joy out of the lower school. She discontinued the giving tree, Halloween costumes, and...

My daughter had allot of issues here during her freshman year, drugs, sneaking off campus, et There was zero resources for help, including when I tried to get involved. Save yourself 25K a year and send your kid to a newer legit school, your just paying for the name, the school has very mixed review...

PCDS (Lower School) is what you make of it. There are trophy wives but also women with advanced degrees. The school makes it easy for parents to connect but you have to make an effort.
