GreatSchools Rating

GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

My overall experience at Parlier High was decent. I was very involved in the FFA club. I've graduated and they have added a lot of new facilities to their campus. They continue to make changes for student success.

The best part of my experiences is the clubs and sports they offer. They have multiple clubs you can join for community service hours and some for tutoring and extra help in classes. There are also teachers who love to see you do well and they really care about it. Some of the bad experiences are probably the school food and restroom limitations that put on us. Something I'd like to see change is the school food. I'd like it for be more cooked rather than just the heat up types they serve.

My experience at my school was overall average. I attended my classes, played basketball an that is it. What I liked about my school was my math teacher. I was in his Math 3H class, Pre-Calculus class and currently in his AP Calculus doing great. One thing I would change would be the career pathways they offer. They offer some but no many or there is lack of resources for more.

More kids are getting brave to try out universities away from the valley, even out of the state. That's good. That means they are confident enough with the education they receive from P...
