When i first got to northeast I was scared of being the only black girl in my classes or at all but once i got there i've seen how diverse it was and since my freshmen year i have felt welcomed , I have join many sorts and clubs , the administration helped with many problems i've had with other students while the counselors have helped me through college materials. My teachers have assisted me with classwork i was struggling with , coming to this school has made me realize that a change isn't so bad after all , i was used to going to school with all black kids but coming to a diverse school was the best decision ever , Northeast high school isn't perfect but it's better than going to a school where teachers don't care about you . I am a senior now and I can say that i have had an incredible and eventful time here at northeast and have made many friends , in the future if I had kids I would definitely send them to northeast , it's honestly an amazing place. I cannot wait to graduate :).

Its alright I guess, not the best by far, but you aren't going to die if you go there. The teachers are nice, but the education is sub-par (as seen with our SAT scores). I'll graduate well enough.

During my four years at Northeast High School I felt like I belonged there and I was able to be myself all four years there. My best experience was during basketball practice the team always felt like family.

The school lacks opportunity for anyone who cares about their future. Outside of sports, extracurricular activities are practically nonexistent and barely funded. Administration barely cares about helping kids to succeed and many administrators have biases towards certain students and will let them...

My son is a freshman at Northeast this year. My son is getting the support he needs, and teachers have reached out if they have had any concerns or when they wanted to let me know when he has improved in something he has struggled with. He is taking advantage of the CAT North Tech School option to l...
