I have attended Paterson Arts and Science Charter School for about 6 years. Those 6 years have taught me a lot about who I am as a person and about my other peers. The school is like a small community in my opinion, and I say that because as I would walk down the halls I know every face. When I first started at this school, I was a shy little girl who was afraid to mess up in front of the crowd. I was never able to fit in with the crowd that I thought would be best for me. What I realized is that I don't have to break my back to fit in to a place that I didn't. I eventually found my crowd and I have grown into a more wise person. The students at the school might have their flaws but at the end of the day we are all a community. We have built a bond throughout the years. I won't ever trade my experience at my school for anyone else's, and that is because I love what I have become because of it.

My daughter is in 5th grade, she has been attending since kindergarten. I feel the school works hard at working with children get a good education. My child gets very good grades (honor roll). There has been lots if changes. Although I am not excited about the music I feel they should also introduce music that children can relate to which will hold their attention. My hopes as she continues is that they will help to prepare children for college, assist with scholarships and prepare for PSAT / SAT

In this school teachers are trained to offer students the necessary tools for learning. As for the facilities it is well distributed and has two gymnasiums where students can practice sports. Something I don't like about school is that for students to play some sport they should expect to be in 6th...
