This school system oppresses students and staff who are not cisgender and there is a strong lack of understanding of mental health in the district as a whole, even though they advertise otherwise. The adherence to common core is mandatory but very frustrating to deal with. The no child left behind is really bring all kids down to the lowest denominator. We will fall behind education-wise compare to the rest of the world from this.
