It's a very academically oriented school which pushes its students to success. McIntosh High School provides numerous opportunities for its students to flourish and pursue their dreams.

I've had a pretty good experience but they do care more about academics than fun. Pretty strict about phones and dress code.

As an African American growing up in a community with majority Caucasian community, going to High School I was praying for a change. Which is what I got, the teachers where very welcoming and the students. As I went through McIntosh there was a culture change which was noticeable by the students and community.

Nice school. I recommend going here. I am currently a student and do not find it bad at all. Although kids using the bathroom can make messes, and some teachers can get mad sometimes. Still a nice school to go to. Though in my opinion, isn't the best.

Two kids have graduated from here, third one is about to go in. It’s a tough school, somewhat rigid and strict. Very focused on education and not so much on ‘fun’.
