Overall the education at Pennington is strong. They push kids to do their best and discover their passions while providing them the resources to do so. However there are some social issues regarding administrative biases and the inability to delf audit and evaluate their teachers. It is the opinion and experience of many that there are teachers who should not be teaching anymore, let alone at pennington.

I love that my child had outstanding teachers, resources and received a quality education. However, we did not experience the same with my child's involvement in the XC and Track and Field program. In fact, the upper school head track/XC coach lacked fairness, was degrading and overall did not have my child's best interest in mind. It was as if he had a personal vendetta and did not treat him the same as others. I've never had such an experience with anyone else within the school community.

I have had quite a few teachers who have been really quite bad but also have met some of the best educators I have ever learned from. Pennington is really half and half in that aspect.
