Perry has been my home for years and it.. quite something. The greatest parts? You can always find someone with something in common with you, the music department is awesome, and you're sure to enjoy your time... so long as you do your work. The worst parts? People can be real mean to different kinds of people, lack of funding for departments other than sports, and poor attitudes toward academics from the student body. I'd like the school to give more funding to the Fine Arts departments.

perry high school has been good. the worst part is our school shooting that happend back in January. the best part is that we had a lot of help from other school, comfort dogs, help from our counselors and other adults.

I had a very typical high school athlete experience at Perry. Perry's class size averages around 150 so it's very typical for most people to know who others are. Perry's athletics are definitely below average but there are many other clubs and activities that can be joined to try new things out. Perry's schools are also very diverse so it allows people to learn about other cultures. Perry has nice facilities for the average Iowa town.

This is an excellent school. Perry has a partnership with Des Moines Area Community College, affording the students the opportunity to earn college credits while still in high school for free. Perry has study time built into each students schedule each day. The advisor in this study time is a teache...
