GreatSchools Rating

GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Pescadero was a small school but I loved how tight knit everyone was. The only thing I would like to see change is to get more assistance for college applications.

The teachers are small minded and do not improve anything on how they teach. The environment is too small for an average social circle that a teenager needs. The school lunch sucks and they barely wash utensils/trays. The bathroom doors do not close. There is only one science teacher.

The average class size is about 21 students, which allows...

This type of non academic focused environment suits most students at PHS - most have no plans to attend university. If you have plans to attend U...
