Pike Central has allowed me to grow into a responsible and caring person. Without the facilities and resources provided I don't know how else I would have succeeded.

I would say my favorite times at my high school were the people there and all the kind of teachers that help me succeed. There were a few times where I felt like I couldn't do it but all the guidance counselors we're able to help me feel like I belong there and made me a better version of myself. My principal he helps resolve situations that are not good at all but my high school experience was good. There were some people there that put me down but I knew that I would never see them again after high school so I just told myself put it behind me and carried through. And that is what I did now I got myself here and I'm trying to do the best that can to succeed.

My hardest times at pike central were the moments when gender identity and sexuality became a general controversy between students. thankfully there WERE teachers that were supporting through any conflict students went through. I was very grateful that we had so many electives, I was in clubs (B.P.A, J.A.G, and spectrum alliance. I was able to take a media broadcasting class and take dual credit classes like psychology, and marketing.

They do not treat the LGBTQ community correctly and let their conservative views get in the way of their policy making.

People say the school is terrible and they wish they didn't go to it but in my opinion I think it's one of the best schools around here. I'm a senior at Pike Central and I've loved every minute of it.
