We just moved to Petersburg, VA and I love the area but the schools received such awful reviews. I met my children's teachers and they seem great, but I guess the students are not performing at a level to allow the schools to keep their accreditation. Peabody is an old run down school. I thought that when I attended it in 1970. Now it is a very old run down school with fed up teachers and students who could care less.
