Falcon High School recently went through a large staff change, along with a change of Principal. Last year, more than half of the student population failed their respective math classes. As it's the beginning of the school year, I'm nervous for what these changes mean for the student body. My favorite part is our choir and theatre program, while it has it's faults, the enviornment is very supportive and a nice break from other stressful courses.

The academic opportunities were unique compared to other high school programs where it was made possible to acquire college credit and experience while continuing to have a well rounded high school experience. I was able to obtain several certifications that have aided me in being accepted for numerous roles in my undergraduate college education. I'm addition I was able to be ahead of the game in credits as I was able to concurrently earn college credit in my junior and senior year.

I think the only redeemable thing about this school is the great teachers you come across, though you have to shuffle through a oile of horrible ones to find them. Most of the great teachers I've gotten have since left, so I don't know if that's accurate anymore. Kids are always doing weed or vaping in the bathrooms and it smells horrible. The board that makes all major decisions for the school doesn't know anything about what actually happens or what would actually benefit us, and does not care to listen. Student body tends to be bigoted. Would oftentimes step outside of a classroom and hear people yelling slurs. Staff covered up a hazing and rape/sexual harassment case that involved the football team because football is what makes them the most money. All other programs are neglected.

Dont send your student here. They were not inclusive and my son did not thrive here. Nobody cared. Only if your student started elementary here, will they be accepted and helped.

First, off it should be mentioned that I have no hate for the school I just want to improve it. Second, For sake of privacy, I'm leaving out the teacher's name. Biology Honors, the style of teaching that this class uses is not good whatsoever. Our teacher has us take notes at home, then come into cl...

Small town high school with a small town feel. The grading system is confusing at best and nothing like the rest of the high schools in the district. Extra curricular classes offered are sufficient except for foreign language, which is one choice, Spanish. Given that 2 years are a requirement you'd...
