Park Crest Middle School is one of seven schools serving sixth through eighth graders in the Pflugerville Independent School System. Students study a core curriculum that aligns with the district’s high standards.
A recently added science wing allows students access to the latest equipment and technology. But at Park Crest Middle School, academics are only the beginning. The school’s extracurricular opportunities ensure students aren’t only scholars — they’re also accomplished artists, athletes and leaders.
Electives in band, choir, art and theater ensure that creativity is part of the everyday experience.
Park Crest Middle School sports teams are champions. Students can participate in football, basketball, soccer, golf, cheer, volleyball or track. Once a year, a faculty and student dodgeball game brings out the competitive spirit in everyone. In Destination Imagination, students work in teams to find solutions to real-world challenges. The Girls in Engineering program encourages girls to consider careers in this high-demand field. Students can also join the Junior Honor Society, Student Council, a running Club or a book Club. The EPIC program allows students flex time for one-on-one tutoring, homework and enrichment. We are thankful that our son attends Park Crest. The teachers are excellent, the classes are small, the admin is very involved. Our son is doing well academically and he is happy here. This is a great school.
