GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

If you're taking any advanced or college-level classes, scheduling is impossible and you will have to choose which classes are most important to you and your future career.

IRHS is a good school where almost everyone get along. Most teachers make learning fun and interesting. The theater department is the best in the area.

It has been a pretty good experience overall, the education is fairly good. They do tend to try and talk kids out of classes they originally signed up for which isn't good, and there have been cases of sexual harassment that have been ignore which is annoying but other than that it's a good school.

My children have been to quite a few schools as we are a military family. While I am pleased with the middle school and the intermediate school, I am not impressed at all with the high school. I feel like I never know what's going on and the teachers don't really seem very involved. My daughter has...
