Being a first time mom to a child who has attended E.M. Stanton for 3 yrs. I was not so happy about her 1st grade teacher performances and now her 2nd grade teacher has me on the fence. This school was my elementary school and I feel that it can improve in selecting better teachers and more teachers of color, as well.

I’m so impressed by my son’s kindergarten year! This is such a great school- great principal, teachers and staff that truly care about the students and their success. The parents are engaged, inspiring advocates for the school/students, and have created a great sense of community.

I used to attend this school as a child, I have really intensive levels of ADHD and the programs there were not well put together and the support system was really janky, i have a family member that attends the school currently and they agree the school is still the same.

Stanton has come a long way over the past decade and has so much to offer local children. The population is wonderfully diverse, with each child getting what they need.
