This school is a stable school. It's in a safe, secluded environment and not many outside conflicts. However, with that comes a very unique community due to the diverse social structures within the school. Some come from lower class while others are from upper class. Some live around the corner, while others have to take three buses. This can cause a lack of connection between students, resulting in a lot of unnecessary drama.

My experience has been good and bad at Philadelphia academy charter high school. I struggled with making friends and creating bonds with teachers the first couple of years. It wasn't until my junior year is when I was able to build a bond with a teacher I could trust. I also didn't like how some people did not feel welcome in the school. Therefore, I decided to create the Black Student Union so students can have a place to feel welcome and hear.

A small and close community. They have nice and clean facilities within the school and the lunch is good.
