Not the best but definitely not the worst school. It's better than most neighborhood schools. There seems to be a lack of funding for this school and always fights.

Overall my experience at this school is okay. As a student who is trying to get somewhere further in life Sayre provides great programs and opportunities to prepare students like me for college. Sayre is not as bad as it used to be, attendance is up to 85% and there are at least 50 students on honor roll every semester. The kids here are all coming up together so they are welcoming but they know who they are and where they stand. There are social clubs that limit who knows who and who are friends with who but in class all that coexists to exist. Staff are a family, they make students feel welcome and open to reach out. My overall experience with Sayre is okay, the best part of Sayre is that it's my family, and most of all, like a second home.

I am currently a student at this HIGH SCHOOL and it made a complete turn around. We don't have the BEST teachers, but we have teachers that are willing to get out of bed in the morning to teach us because they care! Ms. Eberle is the best principal anyone could ask for. She is there when we need her...
