Named for a heroic officer who served the South Mountain community, Ignacio Conchos Elementary is a public school inspiring more than 350 students in pre-kindergarten through eighth grade as part of the Roosevelt School District.
With a mission to help all of their students learn to their fullest potential, the faculty here strive to create innovative learning experiences to keep students curious and engaged.
Outside of a core curriculum, the school provides an Academic Learning Center where students can find more one-on-one support to keep up with and improve their studies. More subject-focused activities include STEM events through an Engineers of the Future program, annual science fairs, guest speakers, and visiting performances from the Arizona Opera, among many other events throughout the year.
To encourage the overall wellbeing of students, the school also hosts health fairs and fitness events with Girls on the Run and Heart and Sole runners, in addition to other services that give back to the community. Additionally, students can stay active and engaged through a series of before- and after-school activities, ranging from Sunrise Club and games to the Phoenix Zoo Club and team sports.
With a commitment to sparking enthusiasm in children, Ignacio Conchos Elementary helps all its students become lifelong learners.

Great school! I have 3 kids and they love it here . The staff is the best!

Please do not take your children here. Almost every child is bullied and the staff won't do anything. If you truly care about your kid's school experience, don't sign them up for Conchos Elementary.

This is the worst school ever. My 2 kids are attending this school and they are being bullied. Principal and vice principal are not doing anything to change situation. I'm about to swich school and sugesst anybody not to take your kids to this school.
