The biggest change I would like to see is in regards to morning drop-off. The crossing guards at Coral Gables and central interrupt the flow of car traffic so significantly that it holds up the entire line. I have watched them hold traffic for a pedestrian who is not even at the corner yet, and then they will continue to hold traffic and wait for more pedestrians who are approaching. By adopting a strategy similar to the crossing guard within the LOM parking lot - having pedestrians wait for a minute or two until there is a group who can cross at all once - the flow of traffic would be much more efficient and allow cars to get in and out of the drop-off line much faster.

Lookout Mountain Elementary is a diamond in the rough! My 3 kids attend and have been since 2020. If you research the numbers, you will find that this school scores particularly high- setting it far apart from surrounding schools, both charter and within the district.
