Founded in 1953, Saint Thomas the Apostle Roman Catholic School has been a local landmark in the Biltmore area for decades as an extension of Saint Thomas the Apostle Parish. Today, the private faith-based school serves more than 450 students in pre-kindergarten through eighth grade.
Here, the faculty strive to make the students feel loved within a supportive environment. As part of the day-to-day school calendar, students attend weekly Masses, regular school prayer and celebrations throughout the liturgical year to bring their faith to life.
In addition to standard core subjects including language arts, mathematics, social studies and science, the school also integrates instruction in technology, Spanish, Latin, studio art, performing arts, physical education and, of course, religion.
Students can also give back to the community via the National Junior Honor Society, student council, an ambassador program and the Saint Thomas the Apostle service program. Other activities outside of the classroom include choir, school plays, holiday pageants and a robust athletics program, which welcomes students to play in basketball, football, baseball, volleyball and other sports no matter their level of skill.
The school also hosts series of educational and inspiring field trips, whether to the State Capitol, Catalina Island or Astro Camp, among many other destinations.
Every day, Saint Thomas the Apostle fosters students in mind, body and spirit.

This is an amazing school and community. Saint Thomas offers a challenging academic curriculum which prepared my children for Brophy, Xavier and beyond. The school community is warm and welcoming which was such a blessing for my family as we were new to Phoenix. The school leadership is top notch!

Positives: high academic performance, resources for some special needs or academic challenges, extracurriculars, principle & administration is super warm, caring & welcoming. Safety is top priority.
