I believe that this is a place for young minds to grow and thrive. Not only is it a place that promotes diversity but advocacy and self-representation as well.

There are things that I loved and there are things that I didn't like about school, but I was able to enjoy it for the most part. I was able to get into clubs like the gardening club which allows me to learn how to plant types of plants. Another club I like was Outdoors club for the fun times we had. We learned how to use goggles and hiked around places. What I liked about this high school was being able to talk to my friends and friendly teachers because I felt like this high school was like home to me. It gave me the ability to socialize with a lot of people while also focusing on my education and learning how I can enhanced my education from other people who have done my major. I don't focus on the negativity that it brought me because I want to focus on the fun times to remember how it helped me to get where I will be in the future.

In my time at Pike, I really appreciated how they had career-based classes that provided their students with college credits or licenses so that they could get ahead in their goals in life. But I disliked how bad the faculty was; we would have broken ceilings that would leak and broken sinks in the bathroom.

They do nothing about kids being bullied. The officers who control traffic does not do anything. It is sad. Honestly. The only...

My son graduated from Pike after starting out at a private Christian high school. He excelled there and enjoyed taking Latin and being part of the drama department. He also enjoyed the orchestra.

A predominately black school with kids with some sense… a lot of kids have the means here they just play too much because they have spoiled parents. A realistic view of the world coming from a person that had private school roots.
