GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

My school is in a rural area, my graduating class is only 62 people. I like that it is small, I'm someone who learns better with a hands on approach. The school has very good teachers, they try to prepare us for college. I wish we had more class options, but with such a small school it is hard to have that financially.

Piketon overall is a good school. The staff are kind and all of the students seem to mesh well. When there are issues, they usually get resolved quickly. I would like to see more clubs get created and also like to see more students try out for more sports.

Personally, I find that the school has a very warm and familial feel, when quarantine happened and schools were closed back in 2020 the main concern of the teachers wasn't tests or grades it was how to make sure the students who needed help with food were able to get that help.

My children are open enrolled to Piketon Jr./Sr. High School because I believe that Piketon offers my children the best opportunity in the area to get a quality education. This comment isn't intended to be a negative comment about surrounding schools. I am very familiar with the other schools in the...

My name is katrina Roberts Matthew's. At the time I was in piketon high school, from 1976-1980, it was'nt bad at all. If my home life was better, I think thing's would of been better for me in school. I dearly loved my teacher's, and they liked me to. I really loved home economic's, that was my favo...

As a student who went to this school, I thought it was a terrible school. The actual education was wonderful. However, education is not the entirety of what makes a school decent or wonderful. It's impossible to not be affected by those around you, and those that were around me were some of the most...
