GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Pine Bush Hogh school is one of my life's best things. I did not begin with pine bush but it made a difference when I switched schools. Everyone is accepting teachers, students, and families.

My school is very well diversed and offers a lot of different opportunities academically in my opinion but it is not perfect i do belive that some things do need work but they definitely are not things that prohibit my ability to learn which is a massive plus side but some of the things i personally feel would be considered negatives are the lack of fairness when it comes to sports especially being an athlete it is clear some sports are favored more than others i.e. track and field v. Football. Football is clearly treated better than track and field which is unfair in my opinion

The school was alright, i loved the teachers, most of them. But it can get really violent sometimes and bullying is still a problem there.

I graduated from Pine Bush High School in the spring of this year, and now I'm a freshman in college. Pine Bush has the potential to be a much better school than it is. I feel as though STEM classes at PB don't prepare students to be competitive at the college level. There's so much administrative a...

I am not vain enough to say that Pine Bush is the best, but I am a senior this year and everything I have seen and experienced while in this school has changed myself and many others for the better as well as widened our horizons and views of the world. Now when I say horizons, I mean that the teach...

I recently graduate from Pine Bush, and even though we all say we can't wait to leave and go away, I miss it. There's such a sense of community in the town and a majority of the teachers love their jobs. Of course there are teachers who shouldn't be in the profession, but at PBHS, most of the teache...

This school, while it has it's downfalls as all schools do, has absolutely amazing programs. We have recently started summer programs in which the students can earn college credits, as well as some high school credits, during the summer. The Science Academy stays at the SUNY Cortland campus in the A...
