GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

As an african-american student finding others like me was difficult. Otherwise, the environment was acceptable and the teachers were always very caring for their students and their studies. I enjoyed my years playing sports there and building relationships with teachers and other students.

The teachers are great and during 11th and 12th grade I was able to take college classes and some students even earned their A.A. They honor and recognize Academic and sport achievements which I think is amazing. The cafeteria food is okay. I didn't like how some teachers didn't take control of their class all the time. But overall it was a good experience.

My overall experience was good, but there could be changes to this place. First of all, a lot of the younger students are often out of control. Second, I feel that teachers don't really give students with mental disabilities a chance to try, but rather put them in classes that seem to limit them and hardly seem to help.
