My son is in the DHH program at Cross Bayou Elementary School. His progress has gone up and down since he started there in Kindergarten. Due to funding, I think we lost some wonderful DHH advocates in the last year and the relocation of the Family Center on Deafness. I wish we, as parents of DHH kid...

It's OK Personally ive already saw staff get pretty catty. And like the one poster said the only school for hearing impaired. What does anyone really have to compare it to. I think personally All Children's has a funding and publicity influence and just being the only school for deaf/hearing impaire...

If your child is hearing impaired - great! IF NOT, then this school is definitely so - so. School starts at 7:30am to accommodate the hearing program... all the other elementary schools start at 8:30 am. Way too early for the little ones. They dissolved classrooms after the first month and changed c...
