At first glance, this school seems to be memorization, rote learning: "outdated" cliches. Well, I have to agree that this school is NOT for every kid (I know a few kids quit because it asks for too much). I had two children attend Middle Campus at Pinewood. The academics is very, very traditional and based on memorization. Lots of homework is consumed by memorizing lists of vocabulary words and regurgitating them with correct spelling the next day. Many of the teachers have been there for much too lo...
