Pinnacle Peak Preparatory offers an immersive kindergarten through 8th grade educational experience in the heart of the Grayhawk community. Adjacent to Sonoran Hills Park, Pinnacle Peak Preparatory is committed to instilling a lifelong love of learning. One of its significant differentiators is its use of the Core Knowledge Sequence and Arizona's College and Career Ready Standard – two proven successful programs in the educational field. Pinnacle Peak Preparatory also offers two popular preschool programs, Mini Scholars Preschool and Little Scholars Preschool.
Academics are highly rigorous at Pinnacle Peak Preparatory, and the students also benefit from smaller class sizes and high levels of teacher support. Honors classes are offered, as well as various electives, a gifted program, a special education program and a language acquisition program. The parent-teacher organization is highly involved at Pinnacle Peak Preparatory. In recent years, their involvement has enabled the school to remodel its staff lounge and upgrade the playground equipment. Teachers are not invested in getting to know your children. When behavior from another classmate arose that involved pushing (in the hallways and the playground), nothing was done to rectify it.I had to ask repeatedly for this student to not be sat at my son's table. I do not think this school supports children with learning differences. Staff, teachers, and administrators talk about parents and students. The administrative staff is rude and entitled.
