Obama is an over all pretty good school for academics, but the administration is worse than incompetent and at times actively harmful.

The best part about my experience in Obama is the teachers, hands on is the word I would describe with majority of them and a lot of the overall school faculty and staff want to see you thrive and make a name for yourself outside of Obama. They are very understanding on not only a mental level but also a cultural level with the students here. However, with all the good can also be said that a lot the academics here are not entirely focused and do not engulf or help us learn anything, instead just being absorbed so we can do good on a test or essay. We're not gaining real skills for colleges.

I just recently graduated from Obama, but the school was great! I got to achieve a lot of my personal and academic goals in that school & the experience was amazing.
