The school has many clubs, anyone can host a club, there are many opportunities. However, school's support for clubs and other student activities seemed less avid and proactive. The school has a strong group of students and a positive culture where you can interact and cooperate with others.

Academically rigorous, Shady Side easily claims the most comprehensive independent school program in Pittsburgh, and it draws students from all over the region, country, and world - truly a school with impressive viewpoint diversity and balance. Innovative new Immersives program at the Senior School gives kids kids chance to unique interdisciplinary courses.

I have three children. One child is a sophmore, another in the middle school and the third is in the junior school at SSA. These schools are amazing.
