GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

It lacks some good AP courses though several they do have are taught by excellent teachers. The staff is kind and welcoming and there is a space for everyone on campus. Finding clubs to join is a little difficult but once you find one or two it is easy to find more and find the niche of students that is perfect for you.

I really like the community feeling and how every person is will to help you out. If you want to be involved join sports or a club because it creates a group of friends. Everywhere you go you see at least one friend that you can say hi to. A big thing that my school should work on is either moving the lunch line faster or creating a bigger space for the food. It takes at least 15-20 min out of our 30 min lunch. Still a good school with good people and easy to feel included.

Overall my 4 year experience has been pretty good. I think El Dorado is a good school, everyone is friendly including most teachers. I want to see administration listen to students in the future.

Very disappointing. EDHS is my alma mater and I had high hopes and enthusiasm just to be strongly disappointed by the lack of structure, team building and communication with parents.
