looking back this school is harder than plano west if you take all available APs and 5.0s. graduated from plano west with a pretty high GPA and class rank and took 17 APS. great education, extremely competitive environment allowed me to grow into a much better student, but ive seen some collapse and burn out from it. harder than plano west and probably harder than college

Teachers are either OK or just strict about grading without teaching much. I find that most teachers are not contributing to learning. It seems that they are having a free ride with committed parents in the area where kids are learning outside. 2 out of 5 days in a week for a subject are generally used for testing. Not too many clubs and activities.

Jasper has the nicest teachers that are very involved with their students. There are also rarely any fights during lunch and the campus is very safe. The only issue is that the environment is a bit toxic because all anyone cares about there is their grades and their GPA, so it is also very academically competitive.
