GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Pleasant Hill has been the only school I have attended since starting school in Pre-k. This school has shown me that even the smallest of school can go a long way as long as we do it together. Our rating was low, a D at the lowest. As a kid I was scared that my school may be shut down. The kids started to work harder and now as a Alumni of Pleasant Hill I can proudly say we are a B school. That school is nothing more than a family that is so welcoming to each and every student.

Many of the teachers here love their job and will be willing to help any student that is in need of assistance. We have honor classes here and I am enrolled in some of those.

There are few after school programs, but there are many students involved in those that are availble. These activities are mainly sports which include basketball, softball, track, field and baseball.

The faculty is superb and willing to go the extra mile to help each and every student. In state testing last year there was an 11% growth with is almost unheard of. By far, the best school in Sabine Parish.
