GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I moved to Plymouth in 2018 and started attending Rising Tide my freshman year in 2021. I was scared, as all of my friends had gone to North high school. I was taking a big step going to a school where I knew nobody. But I knew that I wanted to be a part of a community that was close knit. I didn't want to be in a class with a bunch of kids where I barely knew my teachers. So I took a chance on a school everyone told me I would hate. "Its too hard" they'd say or " you'll hate it there" That's not to say I didn't have my share of challenges but with the support of my teachers and new friends I was able to face them head on. And today I'm proud to say that I will be going on to my fourth and final year at Rising Tide happy with the choice I made. And that's all because I took a chance on a small school despite what everyone else told me.

Rising Tide is a great school, for some people. Although it offers a great education with access to a rich selection of art based courses that are not as common in other schools, there are a few problems. There are often a rotation of new teachers every year, and yet you still get to know them very well. The courses at times can be challenging, but they prepare you for much of what is to come.

A saving grace from my old school. The school is much more excepting and allows students to flourish in skills they enjoy in their diverse classes and ever changing elective. The teachers are also very human and nice, you can have genuine conversations with them and they provide a lot of help. The s...

as a student at this school i find that the only thing that matters is the public image. students requiring assistance are generally denied such, teachers are sometimes physical with students, resulting them in not feeling safe or welcome at this school that declares themselves "accepting to all" as...

I have loved my experience at Rising Tide, and I am so happy I chose to spend my four years of high school here. Fantastic teachers, strong sense of community, and academic and artistic opportunities are always increasing and expanding.

I attended this school for 8yrs and I can say without a doubt that it was the best 8yrs of my life so far. The environment is incredible along with the teachers and staff. Every teacher I had was genuinely invested in my own personal success, they don’t want to see anyone fail. If you work hard, so...
