It's a nice school to go to. They keep it well and has no problems running. The teachers are certified to teach and they teach well. Overall the staff are nice.

I was not a fan Port Jefferson. This school is full of a bunch of kids who do not really care and the parents run the school.

I loved the small school setting. It made it so that I could have one-on-one time with teachers and not be overlooked, even during class. The clubs and after school activities were very fun. There were many school wide events, which included various groups of people at different interest levels.

My son hasn't started yet, but I can say that I hope the teacher parent involvement is better than at his middle school.

Quality of music education is excellent. The music director and music teachers are the best. Columbia writing program was poorly implemented at the lower school. It appears they sacrificed grammar for writing. Science program is good. Student should be well prepared. School could do better job of co...
