My school is very ambitious and provides many resources for its students. However, it does not rank which is very impactful on a student's college application.

I feel as though Comsewogue High School provides different experinces for every student. If you are a high achieving and smart student, then there are more resources for you to become the best of yourself. It really matters the path you take. However, they could do a better job in helping students decide a career path. Overall the school is pretty good and I am glad I went there compared to other schools.

My experience at Comsewogue High has been a good one. When I wasn't doing so well in my classes. My teachers and counselors did everything they could to put me on the right path. In my 3rd and 4th quarters of my Junior year I brought my grades up. Even made Honor Roll in 3rd quarter. First quarter of my Senior year, I made Honor Roll once again. I was told in my 2nd quarter of Junior year that I wouldn't be considered for the college I wanted to attend. I didn't want to accept that . So, I pushed myself to improve my grades. Now, I have a better chance in acceptance to one of the colleges I am looking at. Am also taking 5 Advanced classes and passed them all. Anything is possible if you put in the hard work. I am proof of that.

Most teachers here genuinely care about the students here and though bullying will occur at any school regardless, it isn’t as brutal as kids at other schools may experience.

Community is changing and the school is just reflecting this, very sad

Sad over 15 years this district went from a 7/10 to a 4/10 more like 2/10. It’s not just who your child has as friends it’s the element around them . There is A lot of hidden issues and troubles within the core of the high school. Parents make sure you begin at a very early age to BE PRESENT for you...

Great variety of students. It’s all about who your children hang out with. And their friends are. Parents and teachers are very active in the school district.
