it was fine as high school seems to be for everyone. Had its ups and downs but the teachers were generally fine. Administration was a little frustrating

CC is a very cliquey school- if you didn't come to the school with friends prior it is hard to make friends. There is a lot of exclusivity and mean people, and there is always drama and rumors. Counselors and faculty know, and don't do much about it. CC also preaches inclusivity but has a small population of POC. Overall, the academics are demanding, but good and the teachers are kind and care about their students. I had a bad experience going to Central Catholic and don't recommend it.

This school is an absolute gem. I graduated from there and now have my kids enrolled in NYC ("elite") private schools...oh how the bar is set by CCHS. It was such a mix of happy-go-lucky, good academics sans pressure, guidance and community service. Sigh. Maybe one day we will be able to move back to Portland

Central Catholic High School, in addition to being an excellent academic institution, holds its greatest attribute in the strong sense of community the school has. Students, parents, alumni, and staff alike are all a part of the big Central Catholic family. School spirit also helps to unify the CC c...

I absolutely love Central Catholic. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. I feel like I belong and am not afraid to be myself. All the teachers are really helpful and great at what they do. They really get to know you on a personal level. I would defiantly recommend Central :)

My daughter is a Freshman at Central Catholic and loves it so far. It was my 3rd choice for High Schools. The first being Catlin Gabel, then OES. But I thought that she is the one attending 5 days a week, and I stepped back and allowed her to make the choice. I must say that it would make any parent...
