Northwest academy is very welcoming and artsy. The teachers are incredibly supportive and reasorsfull. The Dance aspect of the school i amazing, Esspecialy showing our hard work in the Winter Dance Concert, (Both Grades) Esprit (High School only), and DYNAMO (Middle school only). But The behavior is not managed greatly.

I like it how it is. Everyone is really artsy, and I love how we don't have PE. Instead we have dance!

Middle schoolers have a dedicated language class, art class, music class, and dance class. After school opportunities for additional music and theater. No sports programs. Campus is across four buildings in downtown Portland. Safe space for kids of all backgrounds and identities.

We are so happy at NWA. The focus is on pushing critical thinking, fostering creativity, and challenging them to take risks. It feels like going to a liberal arts school where multiple fields all play a role in developing a well rounded student while in middle school!
