Engaged, caring administration and teachers. The resources and student support are excellent and I'm impressed by the level of communication with students and families.

the academics are very strong, but some of the teachers are sub par. it is a school where there are a lot of wealthy families, so troublemakers sometimes get away with far too much, because their parents are donors to the school.

great for mixed arts and academics. college prep equal to catlin gabel or other private highschools in portland/oregon. best middle school available in portland for sure.

We are so happy at NWA. The focus is on pushing critical thinking, fostering creativity, and challenging them to take risks. It feels like going to a liberal arts school where multiple fields all play a role in developing a well rounded student while in middle school!
