I am grateful that I was able to learn German through the German International school Washington D.C. The school has broadened my college options.

I attended this school for a very long time. As far as friendships and social life go, it is a very small school and makes it easy to make long lasting friendships. However, the school has many faults in its academics, school system and board and authority. A lot of work needs to be done for it to be as good as it presents itself to.

I have taken my child's to this school since they were two years old and I'm so happy with the school. I'm not german but I do speak ir fluently and my husband doesn't even speak german so when my child's started it was a little bit hard but now they do speak it fluently. It's a very special school in wich each student is very important and the teacher care a lot about them. The parents also get involved in their kids education. It's a very good school and it's very affordable.

The only positive experience we experienced were the events inspired by German culture. The education in kindergarten or SES is very poor. Focus is made on social development and if your child doesn't fit in due to developmental challenges or special needs they will get excluded from part of the day...
