I love PHS, you get opportunities to explore career paths and the workforce. I was so sad when some of out great teachers retired, some the replacements cannot live up to the previous teachers.

Powell High School is a great place to go to school. I really enjoyed how small and connected the community was and how everybody supported one another throughout each other's journeys. The best part of my experience was the sports and extracurriculars. Going to volleyball games and playing basketball and tennis was definitely the best. There isn't a bad part about this high school. I would like there to be more counselors at Powell High School as I feel that each student does not get enough attention.

Powell High School is a small high school, but the people here are very kind. I like how the classes are small, and the teachers get to know each student individually. One thing I would change would be to offer more AP classes (there are only currently 2 offered).

All schools have their issues but having had my kids in a different school I can compare. Powell High School is a clean, safe, and great educational school. Not a bad school. The teachers are pretty good overall. However, the athletic director/assistant principal is a curmudgeon and the administration office is staffed with power hungry, angry individuals.

Powell High School is filled with mean students who bully each other and power hungry authority figures that choose favorites and pick on others.
