GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I liked Poyen Highschool because it is very laid-back. The teachers also care about your education and if anything wrong is going on in your personal life. Although, there are very few teachers like that in this school. If I could change one thing, it would be that we get more teachers that care about our education more than they do now and that we would also get more education opportunities.

My high school is in a very small town, so everyone is very nice and welcoming. I wish that some teachers would teach better and that there was more diversity.

I like the fact that everyone knows everyone. It's a small town feel in the school and everyone looks out for one another. Sports events are well attended and supported and administration seems to also be involved. They're always doing fundraisers if someone is in need and helping whenever they can
