In my years at Pullman high school I have noticed that the councilors and teachers tend to favor kids going the school planned route for academics. While the teachers are very good at their jobs and love to teach when I have attempted to further my education with running start or online classes I was hit with complications on scheduling with and no contact with my council till the week running start classes started. The faculty is nice but the clear lack of support for students outside the predicted path for math and sciences is very apparent.

Pullman High school has a strong community, where I have felt included the whole time. The teachers that I've had have been very helpful in my educational journey. One thing I would change is the resources we have at our school for councilors. Students should be able to feel comfortable to talk with a counselor at our school if needed.

PHS is in decent shape I would say. My personal experience has been fairly positive, although I have heard from my peers about some of their experiences with, sexism, racism, homophobia, and other uncomfortable treatment by both students and teachers.
