GreatSchools Rating

GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Despite its (minimal) flaws, I will definitely miss Pullman High School and the overall community; I truly learned a lot and grew as a person during my time there.

Pullman High school has a strong community, where I have felt included the whole time. The teachers that I've had have been very helpful in my educational journey. One thing I would change is the resources we have at our school for councilors. Students should be able to feel comfortable to talk with a counselor at our school if needed.

For college track students it offers a broad range of AP courses. It is very focused on statistics and numbers, meaning it emphasizes athletics, concrete academic results (AP, graduation), but also tries to cover up any negative publicity. Those who fall outside the preferred statistical groups will muddle through with minimal support and remain in the local community for life.
