I have gone to Purvis since lower elementary. It is a great school and I have seen a lot of improvement over the last couple years that have made the school better.

I have had a generally good experience going to Purvis High School. The staff and admins have put me on a good path but I do think class options were lacking, I wish I could have been more challenged in subjects like math and science. I believe some staff members struggled with making adjustments for students or classes that needed to learn differently. I would have liked to see more attention paid to the electives and sports that aren't football as they were often neglected.

Communication with parents is some what lacking. The school also doesn't recognize all groups with achievements and tend to favor the sports and ignore the less known groups.

Purvis has an excellent system towards homework. As a fellow student I learned what needed to be learned and completed my school work on time. I think Purvis High is an extremely good school, very nice administration & students, most of the students graduate with 3.0 or higher grade point averages.
