I am in the theater program at Quartz hill high. I love it a lot, but we don't get much funding for the program. But, very fun

I have met many different types of students and teachers. The diversity among the teachers is very helpful because you get a chance to experience new ways to learn. The campus is big and beautiful.

Academically this school is great. There are loads of AP classes to take as well as honors courses and the IB program. Most teachers are great and good at what they do (with the exception of a few bad ones). But the administrators could almost care less. The counselors do next to nothing, they will leave emails unanswered for weeks and are rude when they do reply.

The administration prefer to hire young and inexperienced teachers (often not fully credentialed) instead of older more experienced teachers.Likely because they are cheaper and won’t push back on decisions that are detrimental to their subject. I am happy with this school. My child is interested in their courses and has had great teachers so far!

It’s one of the better ones in Lancaster. But that isn’t saying much. We don’t have a lot of options here for quality education where our kids are safe and bullying is stopped. This school does its best and is far better than a few of the others in the area. Still I moved rather than letting my kids...
