The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I started my journey at Bayside High School fall 2022as a freshman, I was able to make friends very quickly and be able to shine. I work really hard in all of my classes leading to all the teachers had started to recognize because of my performances, skills and ability. It is a very diverse school, the teachers are excellent and will help you achieve your goals and objectives. The staff is really great as long as you how them you want to move forward they will definitely help in any ways possible. Now that I am a junior I have seen my growth and realize that Bayside is part of it and even when I graduate it will always be a part of me bf in my heart

The best parts about my Bayside High School experience has been the sports and fitness/health programs within the school. As a 3 year participant in the varsity boys soccer team, I loved every moment. From the competition, to the coaches, and the full experience being an athlete with my amazing teammates. I also loved the health and fitness courses I took here. I felt they were very useful and as a student who wants to be in the health sciences field, it was especially useful to me.

The best part is the sports community. I enjoy being involved in a team and bonding over a shared interest. However, the girls basketball team doesn't have a lot of funding so we lacked resources at times. In addition, the availability to college recourses is very limited and I feel very unguided.

it sucked. literally do not go. DO NOT. Teachers dont care! they don't! You want a great LEARNING experience go somewhere else! If you're lazy and only use school as a place for talking and making basic cliche friends and live near bayside, go there! but, traveling an hour and half with buses and tr...

Mostly terrible. If you are looking for a highschool that doesn't care and makes up so many unnecessary rules you've come to the right place. Although teachers here are pretty good at their job, this school doesn't give two ducks. Absurd bathroom rules making students feel like children, a student w...
