GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Walden was said to be a superior academic high school, but we did not find this to be the case. We were disappointed in Walden's ability to meet our student's needs.

I had a great experience with Walden III. I really enjoy it and I highly recommend it. Nothing is bad to be said about the school. Overall it is a great school to go to.

During my time at Walden I felt cared for. I hit a rough patch during my senior year. I was eventually diagnosed with severe depression and general anxiety and spent much of the year failing my classes. Despite this, the teachers and staff tried to help in every way they could. The secretary would say hi to me every morning, my teachers gave extra help to me on assignments, and my peers tried to cheer me up as best as they could. It's because of this that I believe Walden is such a good school, and that is why I want it to be the best possible in Racine. Not only for the education, but since I want everyone to feel as welcomed as I was.
